One day two friends were walking through a forest. Suddenly they saw a bear at a distance. One of the friends climbed up a tree. He did not think of his friend. The other friend did not know how to climb up a tree but he knew that the bear never touch any dead body. So he fell upon the ground like a dead man. The bear smelt his body. It tested his ears and nose. At last it took him as a dead man and went away.

The first friend got down from the tree and asked to him. ‘My friend, what did the bear say to you?’ The friend replied, ‘The bear advised me not to trust a man who leaves his friends in danger.’

Dear Kiron/Simla,

How are you? I'm doing fine in my new school here. I don't feel lonely any more.

I've made a new friend. His name's Altaf. He's a nice boy. He is always friendly and helpful. Everybody likes him.

On my first day at school he sat beside me. We talked and spent a lot of time together. The other day, he took me to a book store in the town. We also visited the public library. He's also a witty person. He often tells jokes and riddles.

Anyway, I miss you all very much. Write to me soon. Tell me about you and other friends.

Love

Murad/Sima.
